My mother -in-law passed last year, my wife and her sisters are trying to settle the estate including her retirement account with Bellsouth now AT&T. At first they were sympathetic and said they need to do a successtion and all the estate needs to be in the survivors name before they can proceed, that was done and next they asked that an account be setup in the survivors name so theat they may deposit the funds into that account. Well now they wanted the successtion to be reopened for some odd reason and they cannot explain why. My wife and her sisters have now contacted an attorney to turn the matter over to him. It's fustrating to know that a company plays with benefits in this matter and it's even more fustrating when you don't understand the law. Any advice will help Thanks in advance |
