Rep Power: 10 | | Well, it's been said that if a specific speed is not posted within a specified distance which varies from state to state, you can assume, or in a computer language, expect the default limit would apply, which again varies from state to state....
In an example, for New York USA, the general speed limit is 55 MPH, so if a speed limit site isn't posted within about 5 miles, yo can assume that 55 is the limit.. |

Rep Power: 4 | | Limits to limits! The limit also varies by type of vehicle. One type of bus in Texas can do no more than 50 mph, whereas other can go up to 60. Construction and accident sites are exceptions and you can be booked even if you are within the normal limit. Better walk! |
