Question Driving whle License Suspended in PA

Hello, I was recently pulled over for Driving with a suspended license in PA. The reason my license was originally suspended was because I had an accident in a neighboring state and didn't pay the ticket on time. I payed the ticket, but forgot to pay the 25$ reinstatement fee to Pennsylvania. I was pulled over about a few weeks ago and given a warning for driving on a suspended license. The cop said he had to check it out before issuing the ticket. Meanwhile, I paid the 25$ reinstatement fee and found that my license was ok again. When I was out of town, my wife received the Driving while license suspended ticket in the mail, the fine was 250$. She sent the money in and we both thought that was the end of it. Well, last friday I received a letter in the mail from PENNDOT saying that I must turn my license in by 4/17/06 to begin a 1 year suspension of my driving privileges. YES I Know I shouldn't have been driving with a suspended license, but it was an honest mistake. Can I go to court and beg the court for forgivness, or am I totally screwed?

Default Excused

I went to court last week and the judge dismissed the charges. It pays to get a fresh hair cut and wear a suit. All the other scum bags in court were dressed in ripped up shorts and unshaven. Anyway, I'm glad that's all behind me, it will definately not happen again.
