Rep Power: 0 | | Wrong way on a one way Here is my story:
I was traveling south bound on the FDR highway and came upon an accident. The road was blocked and the traffic was stopped. A police officer walked back through traffic gesturing for the cars to back up. When I could I turned around and went back to the exit. I pulled onto the service road and was stopped by another officer on the service road. The officer who stopped me was obviously responding to the accident that had stopped traffic on the highway and he could see that traffic was being cleared from behind the accident. He wrote me a ticket anyway for wrong way on a one way.
I chose to plead not guilty by mail and have court date coming up.
Clearly I was going the wrong way so how to I present my circumstances to the court and get a dismissal?
