I have had my license indefinitely suspeded because of an unpaid traffic ticket. This was not supposed to happen, as I was in a halfway house when I was first informed that this was going to happen. I was told to have my counselor there fax PennDot a certified letter stating that I was living there. I was told that if this got done that my license would not be suspended and that I could deal with everything once I got out. Even though my counselor did this, my license still got suspended, which I did not know about until I got pulled over and was informed of this (while I was still in the halfway house). Then, because I was "caught driving with a suspended license" my license got suspended indefinitely. I went to my court date in November and the PennDot attorney there gave me a continuance and said to contact him for names and phone numbers of people that I needed to contact to get this resolved. I have tried both calling and e-mailing him to get not only that information, but also my next court date, which was not given to me at that time, and he has not returned either my calls or my e-mail. I am getting desperate at this point, I do not want to face jail time for not getting this taken care of, and I am looking for some assistance and/or suggestions. Thank you!
