Rep Power: 0 | | Need advice about serious moving violation Hi
New to this forum. Hope someone is out there with an answer.
As the saying goes, "no good deed goes unpunished". I was following my housemate to a service station because her car had overheated. She asked me as a favor. I was to drive her home after she dropped off her car. Got pulled over bt cops who said we passed a school bus with stop sign and flashers. Neither of us saw it. It was a narrow 2 lane street. We both got tickets. How could neither of us see this anyway? (but that is rhetorical)
I have never had a moving violation and only a few parking tickets, which I beat in the 30 years I have been driving.
The tariff is $362.50 and it could carry 5 points.
I am a wreck about it, and pretty unhappy.
Is there anything I can say or do to get rid of points and/or lower fine?
Thank you,
Sherry |
