Most people would assume that it is the job of regulators to protect the public. However, the Law may prevent them from doing so. Vital information that could help save lives is hidden from public view, as companies submit it under the umbrella of proprietary information. The Government may know that medicine we take in good faith is bad for us, but they cannot prevent the damage because they are not allowed to release the information.
