Rep Power: 4 | | Utility? The episodes have great entertainment value, but I just hope that things pan out in the same way when one of us has occasion to be in court! It seems to me that the proceedings depend a great deal on people's presence of mind, and I often find myself with a new angle after deep reflection on some of the questions and comments. I wish all legal proceedings could be through a forum or a kind of email, so that people could think through their responses. Noone should be allowed to interrupt! I really find that hard to take! |

Rep Power: 10 | | Yes, these are real live cases....
In general, during the day they air live cases happening around the US, and in most cases they are right in the courtroom and you can hear the testimony and entire trial...
At night they mostly air criminal investigation show like "Forensic Files" "North Mission Road"
"Cops" etc.... |

A judge may hold proceedings in camera or even in his or her own chambers, to provide privacy as may be needed by a lady or a child. |
