Rep Power: 0 | | Civil Suit Hi I had a civil suit filed against me from a accident i had 4 years ago.The people i hit told me if i paid the deductable then i woulldn't have to pay anything else..so i paid the deductable and the next thing i know the insurance company have filed a civil suit for 900.00 dollars .I've lost receipts where i paid the deductable and now they've took my drivers license because i won't pay ...is there anything i can do..besides pay it just doesn't seem right..they're charging me for stuff on the vehichle that i didn't even damage. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Re: Civil Suit you may opt to pay it outright. but since you don't feel right about it, you may choose to fight it with a counter suit. but then again, it might exceed, far more exceed the amount you have to pay to the insurance.
