The court forum website is a few years old. We had to shut it down for a while (about a year) because the web spam and bulletin board spam has become such an issue these days, that keeping a clean open forum is quite difficult.
Our intention is to build back this forum to a point from which it was left a year ago. It was a free and helpful resource for people to visit and ask questions and get opinions on legal topics. At the time we did not ask for help from the members and eventually the site was overridden with material which tarnished the boards reputation. We decided to eliminate all access to it.
In the past, some visitors had questions that were directed toward actual lawyers who were members, and some discussions were about famous trials and current court TV stories. The site will be a great resource again and I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has extra time in there day to log on and check for those who would like to wreck our boards and post spammy links.
Those who are elected as Board Moderators would have access to the delete buttons so that these type of messages could be removed from the site. I hope to get 10 to 20 moderators on the site so that at all times during the day, someone is always here looking around to fight back against the spammers and to keep the peace on the forums...
If your interested in helping out by taking an active role in the forum, please do let me know. For lawyers that may be interested, this could be a great way to help out the website and gain the interest of what could be perspective clients as you can build a better re pour by being an admin figure on the site. For enthusiasts, this could help built a super great site to help others.
