Rep Power: 0 | | Drug Charges Not sure where to start...
The boy friend is in a spec of trouble.
we were pulled over had our vehicle searched and they found and are charging just my bf with trafficing cocaine 16 G.
The 16 gs where brought for his brother in law which IS in trouble and needed to RAT people out in order to get out of trouble him self, so therefore we have found it to be 100% true as per his sister (which the brother in law doesnt know that we know it was him) that he is the one who set up the drug bust when mean while they had no other reason to pull us over other then some one notifying the police that is why they had probable cause for pulling us over.
going on this the court date has already been remanded 10 times because the crown will not disclose WHO this person is that gave them the probable cause to pull us over, they have now set a court date for this Thursday which still havent giving discloser and wanted to come to an agreement.
sense there is no prevoius charges, + wondering if they HAVE to disclose whom was the informant in court to make it legitimate charges or even though they didnt have probable cause to search the vehicle they did find some thing. Just wanting advice or an oppinion if we have ground to possibly beat the case or if they drop it to a Posession charge if it would be a smart idea to take that. |

Rep Power: 3 | | Although laws vary by state, for the most part the identity of a confidential informant is extremely difficult to obtain. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Re: Drug Charges Federal and city officials decapitated a gang that controlled one of the most violent areas of the city, charging 40 people Wednesday in a massive takedown that disrupted a multimillion-dollar drug operation.
More than half of those charged are reputed "Incas," or leaders, of the Latin Kings street gang, operating in the Little Village neighborhood along 26th Street.Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis said the gang members weren't charged with violence, but there was no denying the level of violence in the Marquette Police District — the area under Latin Kings control.
Thirty-three people were murdered in the district in the first eight months of the year, police said.
