Rep Power: 0 | | Is there a statute of limitations of kidnapping I am wondering if there is a statute of limitations on when one can file charges against another for kidnapping. My ex daughter-in-law was court ordered to have supervised visits with her two minor children who are my legal wards and during one of those supervised visits, she got drunk, took the kids and fled to a friends's house. this was some time ago, like maybe six months but i am wondering why I did not press charges and if it is possible to still do that. She was also being supervised by her husband and he let her do it. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Re: Is there a statute of limitations of kidnapping Previously, assassination and kidnapping that appeared to be intended to affect the conduct of a government were the only two identified crimes. Section 802 changes the activities that are international terrorism under the Anti-Terrorism Act, 18 U.S.C. ? 2331 to include activities appearing “intended to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping.” Furthermore, section 802 adds the definition for domestic terrorism. Whereas previously such a definition did not exist, section 802 uses the following language: “ the term ‘domestic terrorism’ means activities that…involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; appear to be intended…to intimidate or coerce a civilian. |
