Question Stepson in a world of trouble I think...

I am just curious about a lot of things here. I live in Indiana, as does my stepson, about two years ago, his girlfriend(mother of his child) filed a "no contact order" against him during a breakup. About two weeks later, they got back together and he moved back in with her. Since that time they have gotten into other fights, one of which she had him thrown in jail for violating the no contact order...but she wanted him to come back home...she said that she was going to have the NCO dismissed but that the courts refused? It is my understanding that with a written or oral request for dismissal, it will be dropped with no predjudices. Anyhow, about a week ago she had him arrested again, and he is charged with invasion of privacy. How can the courts just keep arresting someone when the petitioner keeps inviting the respondant back home. I mean, come on, it is obvious that they have been living together, for one she is about 4 or 5 months pregnant with his child. Any how, they gave him a 10,000 surety bond, which means 1,000 to get out, we can't afford to get him out, so there he sits. He goes to court on the 17th, is there any way to fight this, and what should we expect?????
