Rep Power: 0 | | What do I do? I will explain this as simply and possiable. Almost 3 years ago a friend of mine asked me to sell some jewerly of his. I didnt think much of it because he and his family are what you would say millionaires. Later I find out he stole the jewerly from his girlfriends mother. I was on probation at the time. I am no longer on probation. But I had a meeting with this lady and she brought a Washington County Deputy with her. Pretty much she told me that if I dont pay for half of the cost of the jewerly I sold I would go to jail. She forced me to sign a promisary note under the influence that if I didnt sign it I would go to jail. So i signd it. 2 years later she is now coming after me. Any Help? or Suggestions?
I felt threatened to sign the promisary note. Can a deputy even assist her in that threat? The Deputy could of been here friend? I dont know.
I have three witnesses to me signing that note under deress of being put in prison.
