No more Mrs. Nicegal! You can not trust anyone these days. Through someone who I have known for 20+ years I entrusted him with a cashiers check for $10,000 made payable to his cousin who I was buying a car from. He offered to go pick up the car for me, give cuz the check and get the title and bill of sale. I had been looking for a convertible Impala for awhile and Mr.Nice guy says his cousin has a very clean one and it is at a great price. I go with him to his cousin house to check out the car. It was pretting clean but it hadn't been driven in awhile. Since Mr. Nice guy has a car carrier he offered to go pick up the car for me. When I ask him for the Title and Bill of Sale he says his cousin forgot to give it to him. Two weeks later he confesses that his cousin wrote the Bill of Sale in his name and that the car is his. I of course call the police because this creep will not give me my car, remember it wasn't quite in running condition. The cops accept a handwritten Bill Of Sale stating that Cuz sold the car to Mr.Nice guy because it was in his possesion. When I take the cops back again he tells them it was a present from me. I hired an attorney since everyone was claiming this a CIVIL ISSUE and that I had to seek legal help. I was rewarded by the court $25,000 for Mr. Nice Guy to pay to me but, this creep doesn't have a job, no bank account, no house or other assets accept maybe a Back Hoe and my car of course. Now what? I really think that Cuz and Mr.Nice guy are in this together. Cuz says this is between Me and Mr.Niceguy not HIM. He wont budge, in the mean time he has cashed my check of $10,000.00. He knows that I was the one buying the car not Mr.Nice. I was the one whose name was on the Cashier's Check!!!! What can I do to get my money back? Can I sue Cuz? I truley believe that I was scammed!
