Rep Power: 0 | | Help please...need advice I just found out im being sued by my dentist for $500+ . I went in for a partial denture molding on Oct.1.2007 and payed him the copay for the partial dentures which was $130. He didnt file the claim with my insurance company until 11/26/07, exactly 56 days later. Which by then i had been promoted at work and my old benefits was cancelled on 11/15/07. I went in to have the teeth pulled partial put in on 1/28/08 and payed $360 (both by check) There was no mention of a claim being denied or that i owed them 500+. He then tried to file the claim with previous dental coverage provider that same day. Am i the only one that thinks somethings up here and is there anything i can do? i have everything to proof (original checks w/ dates and insurance statement with dates) that whats stated is above is exactly how the events happened |

Pressure them to pay it. The bad news is you probably signed a paper at the dentist that said your responsible for payments in the event your policy does not cover you.
