Rep Power: 0 | | Class Action Lawsuits I've been hearing a lot of people getting rebates from settled class action lawsuits and it gave me an idea. Firstly, how are these individuals notified that they are eligible for a rebate from a settled class action lawsuit? Is there a central database or website that can be searched or do the individuals just find out on their own? What would be entailed in setting up such a database? I think it would be a very useful idea to have a website of all settled class action lawsuits accumulated in one place. I'm speaking mainly of US and Canada lawsuits, which bring me to another issue. Are the lawsuits usually limited by where you live? If say someone from England bought an American product, would that person become ineligible? Any help with my questions is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Kelly |
