Default Keep your mouth SHUT!

Sometimes charges against you may be weeker than you think... If you are ever charged with a crime, be sure to KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

The police or district attorney may have a very week case and you could open the door to disaster by simply opening your mouth...

Make sure you speak with an attorneey before you comment on your charges...
If you are getting locked up, your going to get locked up anyway nomatter what you say, so don't try to make it any better by talking....

Default Good advice!

This is sound advice! I would like to add that you should also keep a list of emergency contact numbers on your person, so that you have alternate folks to call should you be in trouble. Keep in mind that your first contact may not be within reach of a telephone, so be sure to have alternatives ready. You may have some numbers in your head, but they may disappear from your memory when you are scared and confused. Also carry details on your person, of your blood group, medication and allergies. Diabetes and hypertension are two conditions that must be monitored once you are confined in a new place. Doctors who may have to attend to you should know if you are allergic to antibiotics, sulphur and other emergency medicine.
