Rep Power: 0 | | A genuine concern... That happened to my daughter, she missed her court date. The out come was favorable for her only because an attorney that had been to traffic court for her previously recognized the name on the docket and went in her behalf! Doesn't happen that often. It was incredible and I was grateful but how that whole attorney thing happened is another story. You might be able to fix it but legal advice is a strong consideration to direct you what to do. Send me your email and I will send you the website that can be of help to you. You can check it out yourself and I'll answer any questions. Get moving, time is of value. cpp21742@myactv.net

It depends what you were charged with, was it a traffic violation? IF so you will probably be ok as long as its not something serious like a DUI. All of this really depends on what charges were brought against you... Many courts will issue a summary judgement. Which means they nail you to the cross, or to a wooden post if you aren't religious. Basically you have surrendered some portion of your rights, and the courts dont appreciate it when you miss dates, it can back log their system, which is already clogged, should you have to reschedule a court date.
Get an attorney.

Rep Power: 3 | | Missed Court Date Did you reschedule your court date? If you can do so through the court - that is, find a time when you can arrange to show up in court - you may be able to avoid spending time in jail. If you are picked up by the police or turn yourself in to the police, you may end up being detained while they arrange your court date. There may be a bond defined in the warrant.
Generally, it can help to get assistance from a lawyer in resolving a missed court date and bench warrant. | | Domain Names Sponsor | | |
