I was walking my dog and he ran out in front of the cheif of police car in our small town.
The officer told me that he was supposed to be on a leash because their was a leash law in the town. He then asked me my name and i gave it to him. He asked to see my drivers license and I told him I didnt have them because i was just out walking. He then asked me my age and I said what does that have to do with anythng? He said that just cost you a ticket for disroderly conduct. Can he give me a ticket for refusing to give him my name? |

Its called you have the right to remain silent, freedom of speech, you have the right to a lawyer. If you dont have one i would highley recomend Pre-Paid Legal less than 30$ a month and you can have a lawyer repesent you in court up to 75hrs a year but the cool thing they offer you is a thing called a legal shield wich is a card you hand the officer that basicaly says if your going to question me or arrest me i need to speak with my lawyer imediatly and the cops usally lighten up after that. most cops mess with people because they know they can get away with it. but if they know you have a lawyer
