Me and my wife seperated last year and she drained the bank account without telling me. Subsequently i had 10 checks that bounced. When i found out about them i was given papers by a polce officer and my court dates had already passed. I have been arguing with my ex to get her to pay for the court costs and had not resolved it yet. Saturday i was arrested for failure to appear in court for the 10 counts of misdamenor worthless check charges which were put together on one warrant. I have a court date for 17th of april and was wondering what to expect in north carolina. I have no previous charges and have never been arrested before. Will i go to jail for this? Please advise.
