Rep Power: 0 | | Unwarrented search & siezure My girlfriend had a warrent for her arrest for fraud charges from her last employer. ( she knew of this warrent). Last April at around 7:00am 2 sheriffs come to our door and demand she step outside. She had no problem with there request. As I opened the door we both hand guns aiming with lasers pointed at our foreheads. The police continued to scream for us to put our hands up in the air, we complied 100%. They handcuffed us both inside and sat my girlfriend down in the kitchen and had me stand there while they proceeded to conduct a basic search of the house. My girlfriend pleaded to have them holster there guns as her 2 boys ( ages 3 and 5) were asleep 2 feet away around the corner. They said "were are your kids?", as if she was lying. She told them they were asleep "right over there". The look on their faces changed instantly and holstered there weapons. They sat my girlfriend on the floor in the kitchen andleft her there while they finished securing the area. My girlfriend pleaded for them to put her in the sheriff car and get her out of there as she didn't want her boys to wake up and see her handcuffed with police, did I mention her 3 year old in AUTISTIC. They wouldn't. They asked who they should call to come get the kids, I said no one, I live with them they are fine with me, but they wouldn't. They wanted to see the lease to be sure I was leagally a tennant, after I provided them with the lease, they still insisted on calling her PARENTS. Her 3 year old woke up and started to panic, they wouldn't even let her hold him. Finally they put her in the car and left her there while they went back in and searched the house some more. Her parents came and got the boys, her 5 year old saw mom in the car and was very upset. They left and then they really searched the house. They even searched her car, her paper work and was about to look at her digital photos on her camera until I said something. They interrogated us to see if we were under the influence of drugs, threw everything over the house, took her finally to the substation were her proceeded to interrogate her. She asked for her attorney several times, but he still made her answer questions. What right do they have to take it this far? not to mention the damage to her children. | | Domain Names Sponsor | | |
