Rep Power: 0 | | needing assistance I got into an accident January 7, 2003 which left me as an incomplete paraplegic. At the time I had an active checking account with roughly $1400 in it. I had filed my income and recieved an sum of $3700 but out that check I gave the mother of my child $1100. She recieved two of my checks from my employer what added up to be around $600. At my place of employment we had an program which was called paid time off (PTO) what would be awarded to you after a years time. Each check a percent of the hours you have worked would go into a (PTO) category and a sick time category. When an employee year is over, or he quits, gets fired or gets in an accident the hours he/she had accumalated would be time by their hourly wage and a check would be issued. The check issued to me was for $550. During my accident i also had $220. My mom illegally sign fraudulent power of attorney papers and stole all my possessions. She owes me approximately $5513.12. I have papers on my creditbility owed. I specifically told my mother to put my grandmother as my (POA) but she didn't do or tell her. I have asked her over and over to give me my money but she never do. I have exhausted all my options on trying to obtain my money and the last step is to press charges on her. Could you tell me the statue of limitation on trying to get my possessions. Thanks for listening. |
