Default Voice Writing For Court Reporting Transcription

Legal court reporting transcription is about converting all the audio recordings of court procedures/happenings into written legal records/transcripts. That can include transcription of trials, depositions, briefs, witness statements, public hearings, and the like. There is a special breed of people who are called as court reporters and they have the responsibility for getting the reports and transcripts exactly as events happen in court.

Learning shorthand takes longer time and therefore is being gradually replaced by voice writing which can be learned within a much shorter span of time. Some of the other advantages of voice writing are as follows,
# Voice writing can be learned quickly
# It is a cheaper option
# Multi-track voice writer training require less than five months
# Voice writers can achieve higher levels of proficiency.
# Voice can dictate at speeds of over 250 /minute over longer periods
# Voice writer's record of the proceedings can be verified
# Better quality records reduced the cost of transcription
# Voice writing is more accurate while recording "non-English testimony"
# Voice writers do not have to be available during the transcription process
