Rep Power: 0 | | Car Dealership I purchased a car from a dealership on 6/9/2007, I traded my car in & they were to pay it off within a few days but it wasn't paid off until the end of July 2007, in turn this caused me to get a mark on my credit in which I didn't know until I purchased a new home in Nov. 2007, that mark it put on my credit caused me to get a higher interest rate than I would have gotten without the mark. I have never had any marks on my credit until this. Since then the person that owned the dealership has sold it to someone from out of state. Is there anything that can be done? |

Rep Power: 10 | | Re: Car Dealership I really do not think there is anything you can do. According to another dealer I am sitting here with now, depending on the state, the Motor Vehicles require the dealer to pay off the car immediately and they may have gotten a fine, and you possibly monetary compensation, if it was reported, but since they sold the place, they likely have a new motor vehicle facility number....
