Hello ~ I have sent Cease and Desist letters to my debtors ~ Two of them have contacted me AFTER their respective companies signed the delivered letter...I have 2 emails and a voicemail from 1 and a voicemail for the other ~ Does this mean that I am now able to recieve something from either one since they contacted me after the letter??? and if so, what steps do I take next??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yaronda |

Good for you, Keep those records... Yes, you have them on violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices act (FDCPA). I believe you can collect $1000.00 from them for violating a cease and desist.
