Hi I was dating a guy since december of 06 to make a long story short I end up moving in when with him in his mothers apartmet. His mother dies and I took over the rent. However the place was still in his mothers name. He told me I could get it put in my name but I never jumped on. Now for the month of march I gave in him a blank money order to pay the rent. When I came home from work this past saturday the apartment was empty and my labtop and xbox 360 was missing and he had not paid the rent. He lied to me took my money and my belongings. I wanted to know if I could take him to court for my belongings and the money order for the rent. I have proof of purchase for all items and proof of payment of rent for january through march.
