So yesterday I got a call from Planned Parenthood where I had my anual gyno exam. They had tested me for STDs since I had a new sexual partner. On the phone they told me I had chlamydia, and needed to come in for treatment in addition to telling all my sexual partners. After I followed their adice by booking an apointment and informing my partners, they called me back and informed me that they had confused my test results and I was actually fine. Their misdiagnosis destroyed my social life. Honestly, I am so mad. Is there any legal action I can take? I don't really want to sue for a million dollars or anything, but I am terribly embarrassed and don't want this mistake to be repeated in the future. |
