I went to a Toyota car dealer to buy a new car on sept 20th. I picked the car, and sat down with a manager to talk about pricing. I was told that there were no incentives from toyota that month. I immediate told him that I will wait until october for the incentives (if there will be any). The manager tried said a few things to help me purchase the car that day. One of the things he told me was that he gets advanced notice from toyota concerning incentives, and that there will be non in october. I decided to just purchase that day since waiting 10 days later will not help me get a lower price.

Unfortunately, in october there was an incentive. The diffence in price is $1400 (9%APR vs 0% APR). I confronted the dealer and they decided to give me the incentive. They also confirmed with toyota corp that they could give me the incentive. I signed the new contract for 0APR. A month later, I was told that the contract was rejected because I did not purchase in the correct month to recieve the incentive.

Is my dealer legally responsible to give me the $1400 difference?
