I am in need of some advise from the people who knows law best. I have reasons to believe that I've been blacklisted. I will not get into details on it, but what would be the best way to uncover the issue?

I am thinking of getting some background check on myself to look at the reference comments but am having several difficulties:
- which company is accurate and will stand in the court of law?
- which company will entertain individual requests?
- would it make sense to even spend money on those, since its probably going to be undocumented?

Would that be the best course of action? Any suggestions?
